Banda Eva
Banda Eva is a Carnival institution! And the "institution" has a new leader for the first time in years. Fellipe Pezzoni is the new "voice" of Eva replacing one of Carnival's "favorite sons", Saulo Fernandes. Assuming the leadership of Banda Eva is no small task. Previous band leaders include some of the biggest names in Axé music including Daniela Mercury, Luis Caldas, Durval Leyls, and, of course, the most famous of them , the reigning "Queen" of Axe music, Ivete Sangalo, who catapulted Banda Eva to national fame during her five years as band leader (1993 -1998).

Fellipe Pezzoni, a fan of Banda Eva since childhood, will now have his chance to lead the venerable Bloco. Discovered by the producers of Banda Eva while leading his own band, Mil Veroes (Thousand Summers), Fellipe was recruited and groomed as an eventual successor. Rich in Axé tradition, Banda Eva has consistently been one of strongest acts found on the circuit. And now, it's Fellipe's chance to write the next great chapter in Banda Eva's history.
