Léo Santana is now Salvador's biggest pagode star. He started his career with the pagode band Parangole where in 2010 the then 23-year-old heart-throb was voted Carnival's Best Male Singer and the band chosen Best Pagode Band. In Carnival 2014, he started his solo career and has star ever brightened since. His hits included tracks like, Favela, Eu Sou Negao, and Tchubiranbiron, a tong twister of a title with a Macarena-like dance step.  Clearly one of the hottest acts in the city, look for crazed crowds whever he appears this Carnival 2019!
